    The EKG…didn’t go okay?!

We still do not have results, but I now have hives all over my chest, where the top three adhesives were. In addition, I have severe chest pain in the relative area of one of the stickies.

There aren’t any warnings issued on line, so I’m hoping it’s unrelated – but it’s quite the coincidence. I’ll call them Monday morning and see what’s up with all of this (they’re probably not open on Sundays…)

    Panthunt

I went shopping again with mum today, in search of the perfect pair of jeans. I’ve upped my price limit from 30 to 60, and still to no avail! I tried on jeans at Off the Wall, the Gap, Gap Kids, Dynamite, Below the Belt…I was everywhere and anywhere!!

Does anyone else have the problem that when their thighs and waist fit the jeans, the butt is way too tight? Or in order to have the waist fit, it’s hard to get over you butt??

In other slightly related news, I bought the Body Shop mini brush kit; $19 up here in Canada. Haven’t tried them yet, but they feel incredibly soft, and look fantastic lying on my counter!! I also checked out their make up – the nude lip liner was sparkly, which I hated. The lip and cheek stain was…fuchsia?! Honestly, it was bright, bold fuchsia. It looks fantastic in a bottle, but once it’s out…

    The EKG…

…went okay. We don’t have results back yet.

However, the patches ended up red and puffy, and though that went down, I’m still itchy all over my chest and bra line, where they were. I’m pretty sure that’s not a good thing, and also pretty sure that it’s because of the alcohol – I’ve got extremely sensitive skin, and I think it’s just that the alcohol used to clean my skin before the sticky patches were applied didn’t evaporate – after all, it was being trapped by the patches!!

I’m off to go have some more food – I’m starving!!

    Oopsie.

Sorry there was no post today, kids. (I don’t know why I keep saying that. I called my entire family kids today at dinner and they looked at me funny. But they’re used to me saying strange things, so they got over it pretty fast.) It’s ten o’clock here, and it’s the first time I’ve been able to hit the computer all day. But I promise I’ll have something up soon!!

I’m on a 24h EKG right now – FB probably knows what I’m talking about. Anyhow, the stickers are itching something nasty and I’m about to go INSANE.

(If anyone can get their hands on a tetra pack of chocolate almond milk, you MUST TRY IT. I’ve finally found it in Canada – save on foods. I may have to start shopping there more often – they have the amazing asiago bread, the almond milk that I’ve been searching like mad for, and jelly belly jelly beans, which I love!!)

    :( Stupid Journal.

The paper didn’t come this morning. I have no idea who the bloody carrier is, but this happens every winter!! They don’t deliver it until eleven-ish, and I can’t read it until I come home for the day. When we call and complain, the Journal pretty much just says cancel the paper or suck it up.

:( I’m off to read the digital edition.

    !!!

Okay, so. I was searching for sales and such online, since the CAD is finally at par with the USD.

Go here from Oct 6-10; I wanted to see what Banana Republic had. And apparently, what they have is a temporarily closed site. So they’re giving 10%, I guess.

    That’s all ^^

    Hair heaven

I was going to save this one for a while, but it’s relevant now, so here it is!

Paul Mitchell’s Super Skinny Serum is my Holy Grail hair product. It smells fantastic, doesn’t grease up my hair, makes it feel super-soft, and shines enough to blind you (well, maybe not, but you get the gist). It’s only con is that it’s slightly expensive, but it’s totally worth it – I bought a tiny little bottle, probably about as long as my palm. It was on sale for $6, and I put it in my hair whenever it’s looking less than perfect. I have short hair, so I just put in a drop or so. I’ve used a whole centimetre of it, over about two and a half months :P

So pretty much, what I’m trying to say is this: BUY IT!! Yes, the price is a little high, but it’s like treating yourself. And very much worth the price tag!

EDIT: I picked up a new full-sized bottle of this at the ABA hair show in ’08 for $15, and over a year later, I’ve literally only used an inch and a half – about to the bottom of “smoothing”. You really only do need a tiny bit!

    Straight, but really bloody greasy.

I’ve been searching for the HG of shampoos and conditioners since I was twelve.

    I haven’t found it yet.

But along the way, I’ve tried quite a few – today, you’re hearing about the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi shampoo and The Detangler conditioner.

As you can tell by the title, they weren’t worth the enormous price tag – my hair felt fantastic, and I could practically see my reflection in it, but my scalp got greasy within the day – right now, I’m using Joico. Life has been really, really busy, so I didn’t have time to shower yesterday, and my hair’s just barely beginning to get oily.

I guess these two would be great for someone with really dry hair, that wanted shine and softness. But if you have a normal or oily scalp, this really isn’t for you – no matter how great it makes your hair feel, the price tag (about $25/bottle) is way too high for normal people to be okay with the greasy-scalp-factor.
