This is a sneaker:And this is a runner:
(Haha, just kidding. The following is what I’d call a runner.)
And, just for the hell of it, this is a skate shoe, which IS NOT A SNEAKER despite what google images tells me:
And this is just really effing ugly:
We had Touch of Class day this Thursday — everyone gets dolled up to go to school. I took some eye shots as well, but it’s so awfully dark here that they didn’t really turn out. I’ll see what I can do about them and try to have them up later :) Basically just neutrals with a pop of gold, then pink cheeks and a red(ish) lip.
And lots of caffeine.
The “oh my god, not another photo please just let me sleeep!” face:The outfit under garish lighting:
(I do have a left hand, it’s just hidden because I like my sleeves really long. Hey, when you are this short, it means your arms are stubby too… so you get used to having ’em covered by sleeves.)
What it is: Oscar Blandi’s Dry Shampoo

HOWEVER [there is always a “however” in posts like this!] I did find that the powder forms small clumps in your hair. I don’t think this would be a problem for ladies with lighter hair (medium-light brown to white) but it does look a little dandruff-y in my dark brown hair. The scent also gets a little irritating after a while; it’s a little more lemon-cleaner than lemon-juice.

Yah, so I’d say this is about… 3″ in diameter? ‘Bout five centimetres?
Note — A super-helpful SA at Sephora made a great point while I was picking up the Blandi: some people think that sprays give them more control and are easier to use, but it’s actually the other way around, as powders come out of a smaller opening! Also, the effects of a powder last longer than the effects of a sprayed-on dry shampoo. I was going to go with a spray, but after her explanation and trying this out myself, I’m really glad I didn’t!
Karla has swatches of the Love Lace collection (tbr on the 26th) up on TNBTTGSY! I am still definitely very excited for this… Raven and Hypnotizing look friggin’ gorgeous. It looks like there’s going to be a lot of sheer, easy-to-wear neutrals in this collection, and I can’t wait for Temptalia or Karen to put up lip swatches!
(Because they often get previews and have quality swatches up early, not because there’s a problem with anyone else’s swatches! Just putting it out there before someone hates me for it :P)
Spent way too much time on Urban Outfitters last night :/ They have some really cute stuff; I’ll have to make time to go shopping during the Christmas break!
Love this Songbird Pillowcase set.
And the pillowcases would just go so well with these Rose Curtain Tie Backs!
I adore this Deena & Ozzy Spotted Cocktail Hat. Was I the only one who wanted one as a little girl? (And hey, I still want one.)
This Pins and Needles Feather Cloche is definitely a contender for my hat replacement — my favourite one went missing last winter and I still haven’t purchased a new one! I’ve been waiting for a hat to call to me the way my lost hat did, and this one… this one definitely does.
Finally, just to scare the crap out of you, WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE? Deena & Ozzy Faux Fur Hood.
Continued from here :)

Karen at Makeup and Beauty Blog — check out this gorgeous office-ready holiday look!
Lisa Kate at Sparkle is my Crack! — I love this! I mean, the more-subtle eye is cute, but this is just awesome.
Christine at Temptalia — this gold/cranberry eye is so stunning! It makes me think of a sunset. Or sorbet. Or both.
And hey! Last call for this survey :)
I don’t do these nearly often enough — why was that again? Oh right, because I’m a student and therefore broke as hell.
Anyhow, I had a great shopping trip with mother on Saturday! The sales associates were all really helpful, not a bad one in the bunch, and I found what I was looking for. We were in and out in about two and a half hours, practically record time for us.
From Sephora (had to use up my $15 off $35 email)
Fresh Magic Wands mascara duo, $10US/$12CAD. I can’t wait to try this!
Clinique Butter Shine lipstick in… god, I want to say Crushed Grape? $14US/$18CAD
Oscar Blandi Pronto dry shampoo mini $11US/$14CAD. I really hope I like this, because I’ve been dying to check out a dry shampoo! Someone mentioned Klorane to me ages ago, but I haven’t been able to find it — here’s to hoping this one’s great!
Samples of MUFE HD Invisible Cover foundation (in 115 and 117). After talking to a few other skincare junkies I’ve decided to give dimethicone another chance, but I’ll keeep it to a minimum — so, no daily silicone-based primers or dimethicone-heavy haircare.
With $15 off from the email and $15 store credit, I really only spent $14.55 on the haul =P Awesomeness! From the drugstore
The Fructis masque in the photo above; I remembered trying this in the summer and not hating it. So we’ll give it a shot this winter — it was on sale for like, $3, and I figured… why not, right?
From The Bay
This REALLY CUTE Triumph bra. It was a steal at about $17, and it’s TAUPE! The photo below is a little warped (dude, check out the left cup / on the right hand side. Weird.) but you get the idea. Taupe!!
I find that Triumph Petites fit a little smaller than La Senza bras, which I normally wear, so this is a B. (Being very very Asian, I am pretty much never a B.)
