Don’t miss this | Let’s talk alopecia.

A ramble/tutorial about hair loss, wigs, and faking it* here.

Plus, a few gifs (which were turned into PNGs on the She Said Beauty site) –

This last one’s relevant to all of our interests, because (let’s be honest), sparse lashes and brows aren’t just a problem for people on chemo drugs. A before and after with super-natural (supernatural!) brow penciling + black liner in the lash line itself, rather than just above or below it:

*”It” being lashes and brows, that is. Get your mind out of the gutter.

I always have to fill in my brows and put on tightline for the rest of my makeup to look decent, it makes such a big difference! So glad I'm not the only one!

Thanks for posting this. I read the She Said Beauty article, as this is very relevant for me (both lashes and brows are sparse) — I use brow pencils but mascara only seems to highlight how few lashes I have… will try the gel liner trick for the lash line.

Hi Rae, can I ask what product and color you use to fill in your brows? I LOVE how natural they look. I have been obsessed with finding the right brow product for years–I hate the obviously-draw-in-brows look and am always open to new suggestions. Thanks!
