Frizz-free? Try frizz-y!

Product on trial: Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control Ultra Smoothing Balm (WOW what a mouthful!). Link here, if you want a description. Basically, pump a touch into your hands, run through damp hair – you know the drill.

Price: I can’t remember the numbers, but I think I remember thinking that it was a bit expensive, for a drugstore product – and, though the packaging looks generous, you don’t get much product for your money.

Scent: Fine, I guess. Drugstore-quality; nothing special about it. The good news, though, is that there wasn’t anything horrifyingly disgusting about it, which is a good thing.

Packaging: Pictured. Basic, lightweight. I like the pump, it’s large and solid, doesn’t stick. There isn’t much product for the size of the container, though – not the best for travel, or for someone with a v. full beauty cabinet!

Effect on hair: Let me throw some words at you: crunchy. Sticky. Crispy. I didn’t have any less frizz or flyaways, and couldn’t find a sunny-side-up approach to this product!!

The bottom line: This is a waste of money. It doesn’t do anything for my hair but make it feel gross, and at the price, you may as well buy a travel-sized high-end product – you’re probably going to get the same amount in it!!
