All you need to know: Burt’s Peppermint lotion does not kid around — it’s really pepperminty! It makes my feet feel all tingly and refreshed, which is just a dream in the middle of the summer or at the end of a long day. I wish I could slather this all over! (Tip of the day: don’t do it. ‘Specially not in your eyes, no matter how tired they feel.)

Why we love it: Aside from the fact that it soothes tired feet, it also moisturizes pretty well, and soaks in to leave your tootsies soft and smooth, not gross, slimy, and slippery. And did we mention… peppermint? The peppermint-menthol blend in this smells tasty and refreshing, and hangs around like a cool breeze for about a half hour. I was worried that some of the other ingredients (like rosemary and parsley leaf oil) would make this smell icky and musty, but my worries have been calmed! It’s all freshness over here.

The verdict? I thought a foot lotion was a needless frivolity — and I mean, I guess it kind of is. But (especially in the summer,) this one is worth it! I love how it feels, I love how it smells, and because you don’t use too terribly much at a time, I guess I can justify $15 on a tube of this ;)

Availability: Well.ca, most drugstores, some supermarkets… I’ve even spied Burt’s in Sears, no joke! (I was trying to find YSL Cinema that day, which I did not chance upon. However, I now see the silver lining of this expedition, as I can share this with you ladies!)
