What they say about it:
Specially formulated with Wheat Germ and Olive Oil, this comfortable, non-greasy lip balm immediately goes to work comforting and protecting lips. Wear alone for natural look, with Lip Liner or Lip Gloss. Bobbi Brown Lip Balm SPF 15 comes in a sleek and portable polished silver tin.
So, who should pass on this? Anyone with normal lips, anyone for whom this would be too expensive, or anyone who doesn’t like pot packaging (I don’t, but I’ll take what I can get! My lips were honestly so dry before trying this that they bled on a regular basis.)
Who would I recommend this to? You — if you have dry lips, and you can’t find anything hydrating enough. Or if you’re a lip balm addict! Apply it religiously, which only works out to three or four times a day (angels are quietly rejoicing.) I’m actually okay with the price in the long run, because there’s about three times the amount of product in here as there is in a tube of Labello, which is about $4. And after all, it does do amazing things to the condition of your lips!
Availability: Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys, Bobbi Brown, Saks, Nordstrom, Macy’s… yah, it’s pretty much everywhere.
Edited to add 15/09/10: I’m still slowly working my way through this pot of lip balm, and still have not found anything even close to it in terms of quality. It’s true love! After over a year, I haven’t even hit pan, and it’s the only balm I’ll turn to when my lips are super-chapped.
