Oh, the winter frizzies. Flyaway hairs, uncontrollable static – but how to get rid of it? There is the obvious solution – anti-frizz shampoo, winter conditioners…
What are the other ways you can solve this problem, though?
In a hurry, you can grab a sheet of Bounce from your laundry room and run it through your hair – beware, though, you’ll smell of laundry all day!
If you have time, put some anti-frizz or straightening cream, balm, or serum in your hair after you wash it. But remember – just use a dab. After it’s dry and styled, run another dab through it. I love using Paul Mitchell’s Super Skinny serum – it smells fab, and works like a charm!
If you wake up and it’s a mess, anti-frizz and straigtening products work great then too – and if you have a minute or two, pull your hair into a chignon. A low one will even work with a toque to help fend off the cold winter chill!
In a pinch, you can moisturise your hands, and run them over your hair lightly once it’s alllllmost soaked in.
If these quick solutions can’t get rid of your frizzies, then… well, actually, I don’t know what you would do. I’ve never been in a situation when these didn’t work!
