Image policy

Please do not hotlink images found on theNotice. If you would like to share an image found on theNotice (i.e. on your blog or Facebook page,) simply follow the steps below. Thank you for helping keep theNotice watermark-free!

  1. Let me know in the comments of the post where you found the image that you would like to use it. If you are posting it on your own blog, please leave a follow-up comment with the url of the post once it has gone up.
  2. Save the image to your own computer and re-upload it.
  3. Credit theNotice for the image directly above or below the image, and be sure to link back to the post in which it was found.

All photographs on this blog are property of Rae Chen for theNotice: a beauty blog unless otherwise noted. It takes an incredible amount of time and effort to shoot, perfect, and post photos – please do not take them for your own use!

Additionally, please note that theNotice has a “pro-retouching image policy”. That is; it’s more or less safe to assume that any photograph found on theNotice has at least been retouched for size and light values, if not more. Unfortunately, the originals are not available for reference, simply because of computer memory constraints, but if you’d like to see the originals – feel free to buy me an external terabyte or two. Then we’ll talk ;)
