Giovanni 2chic Ultra-Moist Collection (Avocado & Olive Oil). Because… green?

Givovanni Avocado & Olive Oil styling products

With the March Sephora + Pantone Emerald launch (not to mention, this past St. Patrick’s Day) on my mind, I’ve found myself thinking rather a lot about green recently.

Like, a lot. When you take into consideration the fact that I don’t even like green, it’s kind of a problem.

Giovanni 2chic Ultra-Moist haircare collection

Anyhow: I haven’t tried out the Giovanni 2chic Ultra-Moist Collection yet, but it’s very green! Made for dry, damaged hair and normal to dry skin (there are a few body products in the range, too), I thought I’d share this avocado-and-olive-based collection with you today.

No particular reason why; I was just really pleased with this particular shade of green today. Better than feeling blue!

The rundown

The Giovanni 2chic collection is actually really well-priced: the entire product range (including the Ultra-Sleek/Keratin & Argan products) sits at $6.99 to $9.99 each, depending on the product and store. I guess this isn’t terribly surprising, for the drugstore, but I was expecting something closer to the $15 range, based on the packaging and feel of the products!

I hate covering things I haven’t tested [extensively], but I’m giving these green goodies a bit of a coverage “hall pass,” as their silicone content keeps me from testing them out. I can speak well of Giovanni’s Ultra-Sleek (Brazilian Keratin & Argan Oil) collection, however, which is why these are up on the blog with little-to-no remorse!

Have you ever reached for a product just because its packaging “felt right” for the season?

I feel like this is a weird situation to find yourself in. It’s not even makeup; I can’t blame it on colour trends! I don’t even like having product in my hair!

Here, have a tiny gif of a cat and a bunny. If you’ve stuck out this not-review, you totally deserve it:

this is adorable oh my god
