MAC Face & Body

Available online starting September 6th; in-stores currently. The MAC Face & Body collection will launch this month internationally, as well, but I’m not sure of the specific dates!

A word of advice? Check out the Sculpting Creams, but skip the Pressed Pigments – I haven’t heard a single good word about the latter, unfortunately. And make sure to re-try the Face & Body Foundation, if you’ve loved it in the past! The formula has been re-worked, and has more -cones (but less -xanes, if I’m not mistaken.)

Pressed Pigment ($21.00 U.S. / $25.00 CDN)

  • Light Touch – High pearl powder in W10
  • Warming Heart – High pearl powder in NW20
  • Day Gleam – High pearl powder in NC30
  • Spot Lit – High pearl powder in NW35
  • Beaming – High pearl powder in NC50
  • Deeply Dashing – High pearl powder in NW55

Pro Sculpting Cream ($20.00 U.S. / $24.00 CDN)

  • Accentuate – Peachy beige
  • Naturally Defined – Warm beige
  • Pure Sculpture – Neutral pink beige
  • Copper Beech – Warm golden brown
  • Coffee Walnut – Deep, dirty cool brown
  • Richly Honed – Warm deep brown

Face & Body Foundation ($27.00 U.S. / $32.00 CDN) (Permanent)

  • C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, C7
  • N1, N2, N3, N5, N7, N9

Brushes

  • 215 Medium shader ($25.00 U.S. / $30.00 CDN)
  • 163 Flat contour ($35.00 U.S. / $42.00 CDN)

I’ve never tried the Face & Body foundation but everyone seems to love it! I’m really looking forward to trying out the sculpting creams too, I’ve only heard great things about them.

  2. I’ve heard amazing things about the face and body foundation, I have to try it SOON!

  3. Ooh the 163 brush looks interesting. Haven’t tried the face and body but read so many great things about it. Have to try it one day

  4. Actually I've tried the pressed pigments and they're beautiful. I've had some creasing but I think it's due to the too slippery base I used it with. The overall look was really nice though. Minor fallout, that I could clean up just by applying eyeshadow before foundation.

I like the finish for Face & Body but it seems to melt a bit around my oily spots in Summer. Will definitely try it again for the colder weather.
My recent post The Munich & London Trip

  5. Hope you like them both, Stephanie! :)

  6. Let me know what you think of it, lovely! The new formula's much too silicone-y for me, but I'm quite curious about it all the same ;)

  7. Doesn't it? I kind of want ;o)

  8. Thanks for your notes on the pressed pigments, fieran! I wonder if the new F&B foundation might be better in the summer? The formula seems like it would hold up a bit longer to sweat, water, etc.
