New | Buxom Color Choreography Eyeshadow Palettes, Stick Around Eyeshadow Primer (+ ingredients!)

There is absolutely no way that anything, anything, has any right to be as gorgeously colour-coordinated as this Buxom Color Coreography Eyeshadow Palette (in Tango). I mean — neutrals! Shimmers! Mattes! Silver and burgundy!

And an upcoming primer:

The new Buxom Stick Around Eye Primer looks pretty interesting, too. It’s not in stock online, yet, but the format has me souring the internet for reviews – all of my eye primers (or, at least, all of the ones that actually seem to work on my lids) are in doe-foot or squeeze tube packaging, so I’m curious to see how a jumbo pencil will hold up.

The ingredients

Stride: Talc, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Isononyl Isononanoate, Phenyl Trimethicone, Zinc Stearate, Dimethicone, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Hydrogenated Styrene/Methyl Styrene/Indene Copolymer, Chlorphenesin, Potassium Sorbate, Dimethiconol, Tetrasodium Edta, Tin Oxide. (+/-) colourants.

Dip: Talc, Silica, Zinc Stearate, Caprylyl Methicone, Isononyl Isononanoate, Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Zeolite, Caprylyl Glycol, C12-18 Acid Triglyceride, Sorbic Acid, Synthetic Beeswax, Hexylene Glycol, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Phenoxyethanol.  (+/-) colourants.

Tandem: Talc, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Zinc Stearate, Silica, Dimethicone, Isononyl Isononanoate, Caprylic/ Capric Triglyceride, Chlorphenesin, Potassium Sorbate, Synthetic Beeswax, Dimethiconol, Tetrasodium Edta.  (+/-) colourants.

Cyclopentasiloxane, Polyethylene, Isododecane, Barium Sulfate, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Dimethicone, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Trihydroxystearin, Polybutene, Silica, Tocopherol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Propylene Carbonate, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate.

+/- Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Yellow 5 (19140).

Both products are free of parabens and synthetic fragrance.

    No, I have — they just don't work as primers for me! (Same with the Annabelle Smoothies, and I guess by extension, the UD eyeshadow pencils.) I get creasing pretty quickly with them, unfortunately :(

    I stupidly continue to buy single shadows instead of palettes, but I've made a decision with myself (who else? err) that I'm going to get smart and start buying shadow palettes like these – it just makes more sense.
