theNotice’s fourth-year celebrations | The Colour Giveaway

Monday, October 31, 2011

Sorry that this is a week late! It took me ages to finish photographing this one; I forgot until the last minute & autumn in Edmonton has finally hit. (Translation: I get home at five, and the sun starts setting at five-thirty. Not optimal.)

But I digress!

This giveaway includes: two Annabelle 4Show Eyeshadow Quads (ahem, can someone please make a four-show/four-year joke? Please?) in Pop-Eye and Vivid-Eye, plus three FaceFront Lip Lust Sheer Hydratone Lip Balms in Can’t Elope, LUSTQuest, and Kiwi for Lunch. Aren’t they adorable? ;o)

Thanks for sticking around & celebrating four years of rambling nonsense :P I figure it’s time (well, it’s past time) we stopped celebrating our four-year anniversary, don’t you think?

See you soon with other new, thrilling, and overwhelmingly exciting things!

Hi! You haven't seen me in awhile! I've been having my butt kicked by math and working on my mini-series on we heart this (Did you read part one of my color theory posts yet? I hope you like it, if you did.)

  16. Hellooooo! Yes, you have been missed! *hugs* I did see the first post – it was lovely ;o)

*hugs* Geez, I meant to say post. There's only ONE post so far. *face palm* I should totally remember that thing called editing. Obviously, this is not my day for words!

  18. Haha, don't worry about it. I don't even *have* good days and bad days for words – it's always just a jumble! I'm lucky that theNotice is even vaguely. comprehensible :P

How are things with you and Zena, my dear?

  19. Oh oh oh, the lip balms are so nice that they are inspiring, but I would go for the eyeshadows because I don't have many colours.

What is there to say about Zena? She's INSANE. She's decided to become a battering ram more days than not; so, I have more bruises on my knees and thighs than a person who does that one track and field sport where they jump over the thingy mabobbies. I wouldn't be surprised if I had them all over my back too. She's become absolutely and utterly annoying these past few weeks. Up and down and up and down, in and out, in and out. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. She's going to drive me NUTS!!!!!!!!

I, on the other hand, aside from suffering from Math Trauma and Zena Insanity, have also been hating the cold weather. The cold weather has officially hit the Midwest and I HATE IT. I hate the cold!

I'm just excited for everything XD

  23. Aww, poor Katie! *sends hugs* Criteria for future potential pets: must not confuse self with battering ram :P

It's cold here, now, too! The mercury dropped later than usual this year, but it happened FAST – one week it was skirts and fall jackets, the next, it was wool pants and peacoats. Brr!

Ha ha ha. She's, at least, moved onto my mom for the time being (thank God.) Dog may be God spelled backwards, but sometimes she's not very saintly. She's funny, I give you that, but not saintly…unless she's asleep. I'm sure she's not saintly in her dreams either as she sure does some very funny things while she's sleeping. She's probably chasing down rabbits. :)

  25. LOL! But let's be honest – would you rather have a dog with character, or a well-behaved one? :p

  26. I would love to try the Annabelle 4Show Eyeshadow Quads! Thanks for having this giveaway :D

A well-behaved one with character. How's that for an answer?

  28. Ha! Yeah, okay, I concede :P That's a pretty damn good answer!

I can a rather big smart ass when I want to be. My mom has learned never to ask that kind of question because I'll give an answer like that one and give her the "duh" face to accompany.

I did have a dog that was well-behaved with character. Her name was Porsche and she was a Greyhound. She was a goofball too, but she was super sweet. She had 2 speeds – 45 and 0. Watching her sleep was hilarious as well! She would curl into a little ball and her long tail would touch her muzzle. Whenever she dreamed and she curled into a ball, her tail would slap into her muzzle. It was pretty funny. At the same time, she was a lifeline for me as my Epilepsy was really bad when she was alive. She quickly learned (without any need for training) when I was going to have one and nipped my mom to warn her and ran back to be a "pillow." Sighthounds are really sensitive to disorders like anxiety (especially PTSD), seizure disorders, pain disorders, Autism and stuff like that. Some learn quickly how to help you while others need training. Porsche, being smart as she was, learned on her own.

Zena, on the other hand, hasn't quite figured out which person needs more comforting yet! She leaves the sick person alone and comforts the healthy one! One day she'll get it. I have faith!

  34. I like the lip balms!
